Hindu Community Protests Chinmoy Krishna's Arrest in Shahbagh

A protest erupted at Shahbagh intersection in Dhaka after the detention of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, spokesperson for Bangladesh Sanatan Jagran Mancha and principal of Pundarik Dham, Chittagong. Members of the Sanatan community began demonstrating around 7:30 pm on Monday, blocking traffic in the area. He was detained at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport earlier that day, with DMP's DB Additional Commissioner Rezaul Karim Mallick confirming the arrest at 4:30 pm, citing a complaint requisition before his handover to the police.
