High Court to hear writ petition on banning broadcast of all Indian channels

The High Court is scheduled to hear a writ petition seeking a ban on the broadcast of all Indian television channels in Bangladesh. On Tuesday (December 3), the High Court bench, consisting of Justice Fatema Najib and Justice Shikdar Mahmudur Razi, issued the order. The writ petition will be listed for hearing on Wednesday (December 4), as confirmed by the petitioner's lawyer. Advocate Ekhlas Uddin Bhuiyan, representing the petitioner, emphasized that this is an urgent matter requiring immediate attention.
