Former ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak has confessed that the internet shutdown during the anti-discrimination movement in July-August was ordered by former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. In his interrogation, he acknowledged that the shutdown was not due to a fire in the building but was implemented on the orders of Sheikh Hasina. Palak made this confession during questioning by the tribunal's investigation agency on Wednesday. Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam provided this information today.
