Hasina allegedly leaves India, arrives at UAE

Amid widespread protests by students and the public, Sheikh Hasina resigned on August 5 and fled to India, where she has remained for the past two months. It is now reported that she has sought refuge in the United Arab Emirates. Earlier, several sources confirmed that the United States had inquired about the terms of her stay in Delhi, to which India responded by stating that she would soon relocate to a Middle Eastern country. However, the exact date of her arrival in the UAE has not yet been confirmed.
