Comilla-4 MP and NCP leader Hasnat Abdullah recently shared a video revealing the income he earned from his Facebook page. In the video, he showed his mobile screen and mentioned that his page had generated a notable amount of money over the past few months, including about $129 in one month and approximately $3,399 in another.
He explained that sometimes a single photo can generate a large income. For instance, he mentioned one photo that earned around $330 (about 44,000 taka) in just one day. However, he also noted that more views don’t always translate to higher earnings, as ad revenue limits and Facebook policies can affect income—for example, a video with 17 million views earned only about $40.
The video maintains a lighthearted and humorous atmosphere, with friends joking throughout. At one point, they humorously remarked that while some people previously earned money through other means as MPs, Hasnat Abdullah is now earning legally from Facebook. He concluded by saying he plans to use this income to treat everyone to something good.
