Hasanat Abdullah allegedly attacked again while returning to Dhaka

Hasnat Abdullah, a leader of the anti-discrimination student movement, was involved in another road accident on Thursday morning (November 28) on the Jatrabari highway. Md. Tarekul Islam, another coordinator, confirmed the incident on Facebook, stating that Hasnat was hit by a car. This follows a prior attempt on Wednesday evening, when Hasnat and fellow coordinator Sarjis Alam were struck by a truck on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway while returning to Dhaka after visiting the grave of martyr Saiful Islam Alif. The incident occurred near Haji Road in Chunati Union around 7:30 pm.
