Premier League midfielder Hamza Choudhury is likely to make his international debut for Bangladesh in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers Round 3. The Leicester City FC player could feature in Bangladesh's much-anticipated opening match against India. Although born and raised in Loughborough, England, Choudhury is eligible to represent Bangladesh due to his Bangladeshi heritage through his grandparents. Earlier this year, he completed essential steps, including obtaining his Bangladeshi passport in August. He also received an NOC from the English FA in September, which was submitted to FIFA for approval.
