The long wait for football fans in Bangladesh has finally come to an end as Hamza Dewan Chowdhury has arrived in the country to play for the national team. The footballer, who has experience playing in the English Premier League, landed at Sylhet International Airport today (Monday) at 11:45 AM. His journey began from Manchester, as he boarded a Bangladesh Biman flight yesterday at 2 AM Bangladesh time to travel to Sylhet.
To welcome Hamza and his family, seven executive members of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) were present at the airport. Yesterday, four members—Shaheen, Hilton, Gaus, and Iqbal—greeted him upon his arrival, and today, three more members—Rupu, Sabuj, and Monju—joined them. Once Hamza completed the immigration formalities, BFF officials greeted him with flowers as a warm gesture of welcome. His father, Morshed Dewan Chowdhury, was also there to accompany him during this special moment.
