In Thakurgaon, groom Raihan Kabir claimed that the woman he married on August 1 was secretly replaced with another on their wedding night. Although the marriage took place with prior arrangements and family consent, he alleged that he noticed the difference only after the bride washed her face. The dispute escalated into multiple legal cases between the two families, and yesterday the court denied Raihan’s bail, sending him to jail. The matter is still under judicial consideration.
