Giving elections is not the only role of the government, says Adviser Nahid Islam

Telecommunication and IT consultant Nahid Islam stated, "This government is not a caretaker government but a revolutionary one. The current interim government has garnered global support, which continues to this day. Therefore, holding elections is not its sole responsibility." He made these remarks during a meeting with Commonwealth Assistant Secretary General Professor Luis Franceschi at the Secretariat on Monday. Adviser Nahid Islam further added, "The interim government is focused on transitioning the country from an autocratic or undemocratic regime to a democratic system. It is prepared to take any necessary measures to safeguard the nation's interests."
