Five teenagers were found dead in Nigeria after a 16-year-old girl allegedly poisoned a soup dish as revenge against her ex-boyfriend for ending their relationship, according to Daily Post Nigeria. The bodies of four boys and a girl were discovered on October 26 in Afashio, Uzairue, after their families grew concerned about their prolonged absence and decided to investigate. Among the victims were two siblings and three friends. Local police identified the deceased as Emmanuel Elogie, 19; Ada Samuel, 16; brothers Samuel Ayegwalo and Jeffrey Ayegwalo; and another youth known only as Nurudeen. Reports indicate that the girl poisoned the pepper soup and served it to her ex-boyfriend as an act of revenge, which he then shared with his four friends. The Mirror reports that Nigerian military forces have since apprehended the girl, Aisha Suleiman, who is 16 years old, as confirmed by the Edo State Command. The police commissioner, CP Umoru Peter Ozigi, stated that every effort will be made to determine the cause of death for these young individuals.
