Gazipur Deputy Commissioner Md Nurul Karim Bhuiyan has suspended all four officials and employees of the Kashimpur Union Land Office after a surprise inspection uncovered preliminary evidence of irregularities, negligence, poor performance and the involvement of middlemen in public services.
The inspection also revealed discrepancies in official records, a backlog of pending applications, staff absenteeism and multiple complaints from service seekers. Authorities said legal action may follow once a detailed investigation is completed.
