From Next Year, People Can Sell Rooftop Solar Power to the Government at Tk 10.50 per Unit

To promote renewable energy and strengthen sustainable energy security, the government has introduced new incentives for rooftop solar power producers. Producers who supply surplus electricity to the national grid after meeting their own needs will receive Tk 10.50 per unit. Installers who meet the February 28 deadline next year will be eligible for this fixed rate for three years, with payments made directly to their bank or mobile banking accounts.
