Solaiman Selim, son of Haji Mohammad Selim and former MP of Dhaka-7, was arrested by Kotwali police on the night of November 13. The arrest was confirmed by Kotwali police's Officer-in-Charge, Enamul Hasan, on November 14. Although no case was registered against Solaiman in Kotwali, there is a murder case against him in Chawkbazar police station, and he will be transferred there soon. Solaiman had been in hiding since August 5, following the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government, to avoid arrest. His father, Haji Selim, was arrested on September 1.
