Father dies of heart attack after hearing about daughter's gang rape in Moulvibazar

A 17-year-old girl was abducted and ra*ped in Kamalganj, leading to her father dying from a heart attack. The girl's brother filed a case with the police. On January 7, two individuals were arrested in connection with the crime: Mustafa Mia from Kulaura, Moulvibazar District, and Zainal Mia from Comilla. The girl was abducted on December 31 and taken to Sylhet, where she was tortured for three days before being sold to a gang for 3 lakh taka. During the transport, the victim managed to escape and was rescued by her family members. The girl's father died of a heart attack on January 1, the day after the incident. The victim's uncle demanded justice and the girl's brother accused them of being threatened. The officer-in-charge of the Shamsernagar Police Outpost, Zia Mohammad Mustafizur Rahman, confirmed that a case had been filed, and the two main accused were arrested from Sylhet. The remaining accused will be questioned and taken into custody.
