Zamil Ahmed Limon, a Bangladeshi PhD student at the University of South Florida, was killed in late April 2026.
On May 4, 2026, at 8:47 AM, his body arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka and was handed over to his family. The Bangladesh Embassy confirmed that his remains were transported from Orlando International Airport via Emirates Airlines on April 25. Earlier, a funeral service was held at the Islamic Society in Tampa Bay, attended by fellow students and members of the Bangladeshi community.
Family members and local community representatives gathered at the Dhaka airport to receive his body, mourning the tragic loss.
