HSC students who failed their exams continued protesting for a second day, locking the Chittagong Education Board’s main gate on Monday, demanding passing marks. They claimed mistakes in subject mapping led to inaccurate results and called for all students to be passed through fair and unbiased evaluation. A similar protest took place on Sunday at the board premises. The protests followed the October 15 HSC results, which showed a 70.72% pass rate in Chittagong. The students argued their answer sheets were not properly evaluated and accused the subject mapping system of causing discrimination. Chittagong Education Board Chairman Rezaul Karim stated that the students' demands have been forwarded to higher authorities. Protests occurred at other education boards across Bangladesh as well.
