The Adviser to the Interim Government's Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, and Ministry of Youth and Sports, Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan, has announced that the upcoming 'Sultanate-era' Eid procession will also feature elephants.
On Wednesday (March 26), Asif Mahmud shared this update in a Facebook post, highlighting the ongoing preparations for the grand event. He stated, "Preparations for the Eid procession are in full swing. Despite the time constraints, the Local Government Department, Ministry of Culture, and Dhaka North City Corporation are working day and night. The Airavat is coming in the procession, are you coming too?"
