Following the oath-taking ceremony of the Members of Parliament, the Cabinet Division has begun inviting members of the new cabinet.
According to sources, the new cabinet will consist of 50 members, including 25 full ministers and 24 state ministers, under the leadership of BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman. The oath-taking ceremony will take place today at 4:00 PM at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
However, Jamaat-e-Islami and the National Citizen Party (NCP) will not participate in the ceremony.
Sources from the BNP confirmed that Tarique Rahman will be sworn in as Prime Minister of the new government.
