East Weat University Student D*ies While Saving Friend At Waterfall

Two tourists tragically drowned this morning at Rupashi Jharna (waterfall) in the Kamaldah area of Mirsarai, Chattogram. The victims have been identified as Mushfiqur Rahman, 21, a student at East West University in Dhaka, and Mahbub Rahman Mustakin, 21, a student at Narayanganj Government College. According to reports from our Chattogram correspondent, citing police and fire service officials, a group of 13 students had traveled from Dhaka to visit the waterfall. Around 9:00 am, Mustakin accidentally slipped into the water, and while Mushfiqur attempted to save him, both tragically lost their lives, as confirmed by Imam Hossain Patwari, senior station officer of Mirsarai Fire Service.
