Kulsoom Begum filed a case claiming her husband, Al Amin Mia, died during the anti-discrimination student movement in Ashulia on August 5. However, a month later, Al Amin, who was thought to be dead, appeared at the police station, stating his wife filed the case without his knowledge. He and his family seek relief from the complications caused by the false case. Kulsoom had accused 130 people, including Sheikh Hasina, in the murder case. She claimed her husband was killed in a victory procession and later identified his body at Ashulia’s Women and Children’s Hospital. Al Amin’s family was unaware of the case until recently. They are now seeking its dismissal, condemning the false charges and urging legal action against those responsible.
