Dhallywood actor and businessman Ananta Jalil has been summoned to court over a case involving the alleged non-payment of bills for work orders in a garment business. The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) found initial evidence supporting the allegations against Ananta and five other individuals involved in the case, which was filed in a Dhaka court over a year ago. Recently, PBI Inspector Tapas Chandra Pandit submitted a report to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court of Dhaka, confirming the charges' preliminary validity. On Monday, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Sanaullah issued summons for Ananta and the other accused to appear in court following a review of the PBI's report. Advocate Md Rafinur Rahman confirmed the development.
