Dr. Sahed Ara Begum, a physician at Bangladesh Eye Hospital, has been released on bail in a case related to an eye surgery performed on a child named Irtiza. The bail was granted on Thursday, January 16, by Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Masuma Rahman.
The case was filed at Dhanmondi Police Station on Wednesday night around 11 PM. Following this, Dr. Sahed Ara Begum was taken into custody from her home on Elephant Road in Dhaka.
