There are allegations of arson at the home of well-known content creator Nuruzzaman Kafi. On Tuesday night (February 11), Kafi himself made this claim in a social media post.
In his post, Kafi wrote, "They set my house and kitchen on fire in the middle of the night. For which country and for whom have I spoken! I have fought and continue to fight. Yet, I have received no security."
Meanwhile, Kalapara Fire Service Station Officer Md. Elias Hossain stated, "We received news of the fire at Kafi's house around 2:15 AM on Tuesday night. Upon arrival, we found the fire had spread to the ceiling. We acted with full force and managed to bring it under control quickly. Fortunately, there were no casualties."
Regarding the incident, Nuruzzaman Kafi's father, Maulana Md. ABM Habibur Rahman, said, "Miscreants set our house on fire with the intent to kill us. We demand a proper investigation and justice. We had to break down the doors to escape. Everything is destroyed—there's nothing left."
