Khaled Hasan, a central coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and a student in Dhaka University's Arabic department, went missing for four days before returning to his dorm on Tuesday night. He was later hospitalized for two days. This incident has raised questions among students about whether Khaled was abducted or intentionally went into hiding. At a press conference on Thursday evening at the Dhaka University Journalists Association, Khaled's father, Lutfor Rahman, discussed his son’s current physical and mental condition. He mentioned that Khaled had a history of "jinn possession" since childhood and had gone missing once during his 9th or 10th grade, although Khaled was unaware of it. Addressing allegations of seeking publicity ahead of the upcoming DUCSU elections, Khaled denied hiding deliberately and clarified that he had not yet decided on running as a candidate. He attributed the incident to his mental and physical health issues rather than any external influences. However, students remain doubtful about the actual reason for his disappearance, leading to ongoing discussions and speculation.
