Chinmoy Krishna Das Permanently Expelled from ISKCON Long Ago, Says General Secretary Charu Chandra Das Brahmachari

Chinmoy Krishna Das, spokesperson of the Bangladesh Sanatani Jagran Jote, was permanently expelled from ISKCON a long time ago, said Charu Chandra Das Brahmachari, ISKCON Bangladesh General Secretary, at a press conference on November 28. Brahmachari clarified that Chinmoy's actions are his personal responsibility, and ISKCON is not accountable for them. He explained that Chinmoy, along with Leelaraj Gaur Das and Watwara Gaurang Das, was dismissed from all organizational positions for violating discipline. An official statement issued on October 3 confirmed that Chinmoy Krishna Das (Chandan Kumar Dhar) was no longer ISKCON’s spokesperson. Brahmachari also denied any ISKCON involvement in a recent Chittagong lawyer’s murder and condemned the demand to ban the organization. He urged for peace and justice. Chinmoy Krishna Das was arrested on November 25 by Dhaka Metropolitan DB Police.
