According to a statement from the Gouripur temporary army camp, Mostaq Ahmed Noman, the organizing secretary of the Upazila Chhatra League, has been arrested. He is accused of stabbing Mobarak Hossain Abi, the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement. The arrest took place during a raid on Sunday night, conducted by Major Bayezid and Captain Imtiaz, with the assistance of local law enforcement agencies. Noman was later handed over to the Gouripur police station, and OC Gazi Mazharul Anwar confirmed the arrest.
