Following the tragic death of Dhaka University (DU) student Shahriar Alam Shammo, the Jatiyatabadi Chatra Dal (JCD) has issued a strong warning to the interim government. The organization declared that if any of their leaders or members face harm in the future, they will initiate a movement aimed at overthrowing the government.
In addition, the JCD has demanded the resignation of both the Vice-Chancellor and the Proctor of Dhaka University. This firm warning was conveyed on behalf of the organization by its president, Rakibul Islam Rakib, during a statement on Wednesday afternoon, May 14.
