This morning, three Chhatra Dal activists were assaulted in Julhar Bazaar of Nesarabad Upazila, Pirojpur. According to local sources, the attack followed "Haha" reactions from several Chhatra Dal members to a Facebook post featuring Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's photo. The post was shared by Riyad, the son of Mojibur Rahman, a local Awami League leader. Injured activist Siam Sheikh stated, "Riyad, son of Awami League leader Mojibur Rahman, posted Sheikh Hasina's photo on Facebook. We reacted with 'Haha' to that post, which is why they attacked us." The Officer-in-Charge of Nesarabad Police Station has confirmed that an investigation is underway.
