Yesterday, members of the Chhatra Dal organized a rally at Shahbagh to commemorate the anniversary of the July-August 2024 mass uprising. Following the event, many activists took the initiative to clean the streets and surrounding areas, where food wrappers, plastic bottles, and other waste had accumulated during the gathering. This post-rally cleanup was carried out in accordance with central instructions issued to the activists beforehand. Chhatra Dal leader Jamal Khan stated that cleanliness is not just a habit but a part of faith, adding that it is their responsibility to maintain cleanliness in public spaces. He further shared a deeper message, expressing the organization’s broader goal of ridding the country of all forms of negativity in order to build a better and more hopeful Bangladesh.
