A lost American Shorthair cat named Nub Tang created quite a commotion at a Bangkok police station after unexpectedly biting and scratching several officers who were simply trying to care for it. The cat, wearing a pink harness, had been rescued on May 9. However, instead of being a grateful guest, Nub Tang turned out to be quite the feisty feline, leading to a series of amusing events that quickly went viral online.
One of the officers, Da Parinda Pakeesuk, decided to take a lighthearted approach to the ordeal. She jokingly “arrested” the cat, took a mock mugshot, and even filed a fake charge of assault against it. She later shared the entire episode on social media, where it garnered widespread attention. People were especially entertained by the fictional police report written from the cat’s point of view, in which Nub Tang claimed it had acted out of hunger.
The hilarious post sparked a wave of responses, with many users offering to adopt the mischievous cat and others simply enjoying the humorous twist on a normally serious setting. Fortunately, the following day, Nub Tang’s real owner showed up to reclaim the cat. Officer Pakeesuk wrapped up the viral saga with a tongue-in-cheek warning to the public—urging everyone to beware of feline violence.
