A massive public gathering for National Sepoy Revolution and Solidarity Day at Mirsarai, Chittagong, faced theft incidents as pickpockets stole cash, mobile phones, and wallets from BNP activists. The thefts occurred at the rally entrance on Wednesday (November 13) at 3 pm. Bablu, joint convener of Karerhat union, reported losing 50,000 taka set aside for travel expenses, while other leaders lost 11,000 taka and an iPhone. The rally also caused a 10-kilometer traffic jam on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway, marking it as one of the largest political gatherings in Mirsarai's history.
