A case has been filed against 19 individuals, including former Grameen Bank Chairman A.K.M. Saiful Majid, for allegedly attacking and attempting to occupy the Grameen Telecom building on February 12. The case was filed by Abul Kalam Mohammad Mainuddin Chowdhury, Managing Director of Grameen Kallyan, in the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court on November 10. The charges include occupation, vandalism, looting, and fraud, with the attack said to be orchestrated by A.K.M. Saiful Majid and others. The court has directed the Shah Ali Police Station in Mirpur to investigate the matter.
