Cambridge University is set to broaden its global reach by opening its first branch campus in Saudi Arabia. The historic British institution has received official approval for the new campus, marking a major step in educational collaboration between the UK and the Kingdom. The initiative will allow Saudi students to access world-class education without studying abroad.
Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA), shared the news on his official Facebook page, describing Cambridge as “one of the world’s most prestigious institutions” and expressing enthusiasm for its new presence. The campus will offer a variety of programs, combining Cambridge’s academic excellence with local learning opportunities.
