BUET graduate Dristi Chakma has achieved international recognition as her collaborative drawing, created with Hrisheeta Singh, was selected as one of the top entries from a pool of 7,000 submissions in the prestigious Drawing of the Year Awards. Her artwork is currently being showcased at London Creates 2025, an exhibition organized by Archisource, where it is displayed alongside works by globally acclaimed studios such as Foster + Partners and RSHP. The selection was made by a distinguished panel of jurors, which included prominent figures in the field of architecture and design like Narinder Sagoo MBE of Foster + Partners, Jim Heverin from Zaha Hadid Architects, and several other renowned professionals. The drawing, which Dristi developed as part of her Master of Architecture design studio titled ‘Art, Culture and Other Things’ at The University of Melbourne, has also been featured in the Drawing of the Year 2025 publication. The exhibition is open to the public and will run until July 19 at The Truman Brewery in London.
