A shocking incident unfolded in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna district on Saturday, where a 21-year-old youth, Abhishek Tinga, brutally killed a man with a large knife for allegedly harassing his sister. Officials revealed that the very same knife, which had earlier been used by his sister to cut her birthday cake, turned into the weapon of murder.
The investigation showed that the victim, identified as Anil, had been frequently contacting Abhishek’s sister, making inappropriate advances toward her. He even promised to give her gold and silver jewellery if she agreed to marry him. Disturbed by these continuous acts, the young woman reported the matter to her brother.
Deeply angered by what he considered “obscene” and “disrespectful” behavior, Abhishek, along with his friends, hatched a plan to eliminate Anil. As part of their preparation, they ordered five knives online and began closely monitoring the victim’s movements.
On Friday, Abhishek received information that Anil was consuming alcohol in the locality. Without delay, Abhishek and his friends surrounded him and launched a deadly attack using the knife. After killing Anil, the group quickly fled the scene. Superintendent of Police Ankit Soni confirmed that the same knife once used in a birthday celebration had become an instrument of murder.
