In an interview with Prothom Alo, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir articulated the party's plan to form a national government if they secure victory in the upcoming election. The discussion, conducted by Qadir Kallol and Selim Zahid at the BNP chairperson's Gulshan office, highlighted Mirza Fakhrul's views on the current political landscape and the party's relationship with India. He explained, "The idea is that we engage in a movement and then participate in the elections. If ten parties win in the elections—some with five candidates, some with ten, and others with fifteen—we will collaborate to establish a national government. We have been explicit about our intention to realize our 31-point agenda based on this framework, where these parties will unite to form a national government."
