BNP Stages Protests at Noor Hossain Square and Awami League Headquarters

BNP leaders and activists gathered at Noor Hossain Square and the Awami League (AL) central office in Gulistan to oppose AL's rally marking Noor Hossain Day. Starting at 10 am, they gathered at the AL office before marching to Noor Hossain Square and later returned with large processions, chanting anti-AL slogans. AL had announced a demonstration at Zero Point at 3 pm to demand the removal of undemocratic forces. In response, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement called for a mass gathering at Zero Point at noon.
