On January 8, BNP shared on its official Facebook page that it has launched a new web application called “Match My Policy” (www.matchmypolicy.net), designed to promote inclusive, policy-driven political participation in Bangladesh. The swipe-based app features a simple, user-friendly interface, allowing users to compare their opinions with the party’s proposed policies.
Each screen presents a brief overview of selected BNP policies, and users can express their stance by swiping. The app also includes an “opinion” feature, enabling users to submit written feedback or suggestions on specific policies.
The initiative primarily targets Gen Z, young voters, and the general public, aiming to actively involve them in the policy formulation process. Feedback collected through the platform will help BNP develop more people-oriented, effective, and realistic plans.
Additionally, the app provides content to give users deeper insights into BNP’s policy positions and its vision for the country’s future. According to the party, “Match My Policy” is not just a technological tool but an effort to foster a new political culture based on policy-focused politics, participatory democracy, and direct citizen engagement.
