BJP Warns of Border Blockade Over Chinmoy Krishna's Detention

West Bengal BJP leader Shuvendu Adhikari has demanded the release of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, a Bangladeshi ISKCON leader and spokesperson for the Sammilit Sanatani Jagran Jote, who was recently arrested in Bangladesh. Adhikari warned of protests at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata and a border blockade by Sanatanis if Das is not freed. He accused Dr. Yunus’ government of unjust detention and expressed deep concern over the incident. While the Trinamool Congress held a working committee meeting, Adhikari and BJP MLAs watched the film Sabarmati Report, where he addressed the issue in a media briefing afterward.
