Global supermodel Bella Hadid and actor Pedro Pascal led a high-profile charity event in Los Angeles to support Palestinians and Sudanese, organized by Sudanese-Canadian poet Mustafa Al-Ahmad. Titled Artists for Aid, the event featured performances and advocacy from dozens of artists.
Hadid opened with a heartfelt speech, highlighting the hardships faced by Palestinians and Sudanese. “Even remembering and speaking about their struggles is a form of protest and support,” she said.
Alongside Pascal and Mustafa, she stressed the urgency of the moment. “Families face unimaginable loss, displacement, hunger, and violence. Tonight we try to protect them from genocidal threats seeking to erase them. Even remembering is a form of protest. Whatever we can do—with words, love, and by ensuring their voices are heard—that is what matters most. This cause is very important to both of us.”
