Bangladeshi team "Team Mukul" achieved third place in the renowned Kibo Robot Programming Challenge, an online competition hosted by JAXA and NASA. This year’s challenge focused on programming Astrobee robots to locate missing tools and manuals aboard the International Space Station. Representing Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University, KUET, and other institutions, Team Mukul stood out among participants from 35 countries. Despite challenges in the final phase, their expertise in 3D navigation, object detection, and optimization played a key role in their success. The team is committed to further improving their skills and partnering with STEMX 365, the local organizer, to advance robotics and programming in Bangladesh.
