Ahsanuzzaman Taukir (27), from Chatmohar, Pabna, made history by becoming the first Bangladeshi to climb three 6,000-meter peaks in Nepal in just 27 days, without Sherpa support. His expedition, "TREE PEAK IN A ROW," was sponsored by Rope Four Outdoor Education. An engineer by profession, Taukir has previously climbed five 6,000-meter peaks in the Himalayas. His journey began on October 4, 2024, when he traveled from Bangladesh to Nepal. After trekking for five days to Dingboche, Taukir climbed Lobuche Peak (6,119 meters) solo on October 12, 2024. He reached the summit at 7:36 AM, hoisting the Bangladeshi flag. His achievement has sparked excitement in his hometown and among mountaineering enthusiasts.
