Dhallywood actress Afia Nusrat Barsha has officially announced her decision to step away from acting, following her return from performing Umrah.
During a press conference, Barsha clarified that she will honor her commitments by completing all her ongoing film projects before fully retiring from the industry. She stated, “I still have a few films in hand, and it will take some time to finish them. However, once those are completed, I will not take on any new film projects.”
One of the key reasons behind her decision is her children. Barsha expressed her concerns about how her career might impact them as they grow older. She explained, “My eldest son is now 10 years old, and my youngest is 7. In a few years, when my eldest turns 14 or 15, I wonder how he will feel knowing that his mother is a film actress. Keeping that in mind, I have made this decision.”
