Once again, Bangladeshi expatriate Professor Saidur Rahman has secured a top position among the world’s best scientists. In the AD Scientific Rankings 2025, he is ranked seventh globally and first in Asia for his exceptional research contributions.
The AD Scientific Index recently published its H-Index Engineering and Technology Ranking 2025, evaluating 33,511 scientists worldwide. Earlier, in 2024, ScholarGPS ranked Professor Saidur first globally in sustainable energy research, while Stanford Elsevier recognized him among the top 2 percent scientists in the field of energy research in Malaysia.
Originally from Mymensingh, Professor Saidur is an alumnus of BUET and is currently a faculty member at Sunway University, Malaysia. He has received the Sunway University Research Award in 2019 and 2024 for his outstanding contributions. Additionally, he is recognized as the top researcher in nanofluid research in the Web of Science rankings.
His achievements have brought immense pride to Bangladeshi students and expatriates in Malaysia, who admire him for representing Bangladesh on the global stage.
