Investigative journalist Zulkarnain Saer has released a document marked 'secret,' alleging that Lieutenant General Majibur Rahman has been serving as a military coordinator for India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) in Bangladesh. According to the document, Rahman recently facilitated housing for 250 Indian Embassy staff members on August 5, 2024, raising concerns about his close ties with foreign intelligence agencies and his influence in Bangladesh's military and political arenas. The document further claims that Squadron Leader Altaf, AC Gulshan, and ASP Iftekhar confessed that their main point of contact in Bangladesh was Majibur Rahman. The allegations imply that Rahman has played a key role in maintaining connections with external intelligence agencies. Additionally, it is stated that when Rahman faced potential arrest on corruption and homicide charges during his time at the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), he allegedly sought help from RAW and fled to India using a RAW-issued pass.
