Nazma, a 28-year-old Bangladeshi woman, was raped and murdered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Her body was discovered on Friday morning in a secluded area near Kalkere Lake. Police reported that Nazma had been living in India without valid documents, while her husband, Suman, who holds a Bangladeshi passport, has been a legal resident in India for six years, working for the city corporation. The couple has three children. Suman reported Nazma missing after she did not return home on January 23. Investigations indicate she may have willingly gone to the area to meet someone she knew. The autopsy revealed severe head injuries caused by stones. Forensic experts and police have classified the case as a heinous crime and have begun an investigation.
