Bangladesh’s women’s football team clinched their second consecutive SAFF Women’s Championship victory over Nepal with a 2-1 score at Dashrath Stadium. Following a scoreless first half, Monika Chakma gave Bangladesh a lead in the 51st minute, only for Nepal’s Amisha Karki to equalize three minutes later. The decisive moment came in the 82nd minute, when Rituparna Chakma's powerful shot secured Bangladesh's win. Despite Nepal’s efforts, Bangladesh’s resilience sealed their championship success on Nepali soil once again.
