Sky Biz Limited, a Bangladeshi company, is set to manufacture drones for the first time in Bangladesh, targeting export markets. The company plans to invest $46 million (around 500 crore BDT) to establish a factory in the BEPZA Economic Zone, Mirsarai, Chittagong. The factory will produce 10 models of drones, with production of two models expected to begin by January. These UAVs, typically used for commercial and service purposes, will be the first of their kind produced in the country. Sky Biz aims to export drones worth $169 million (approximately 2,300 crore BDT) annually.
