Bangladesh has restricted visa issuance for Indian nationals. On Thursday, a confidential official letter directed the Deputy High Commission in Kolkata to limit the extensive granting of visas to Indian citizens. However, no formal announcement has been made about this decision yet. The directive took effect at the Kolkata High Commission starting today (Friday). According to sources, the instructions to reduce visa issuance were sent from Dhaka to Kolkata and have been implemented since Friday.
